Project Workflow:

Inquiry Initial contact with a team where a customer provides the details about the study and is led through metabolomics workflow and experimental design.

Proposal Here we suggest the methods most suitable for the project needs to be followed by a discussion on how metabolomics services can be incorporated into the collaborators' project.

Sample Submission Before shipping out the samples to BCDD, the collaborator will receive sample submission, labeling, collection, handling, and storage guidelines, necessary to ensure quality data. Samples delivery will be organized in a way to analyze them shortly after receiving the batch, without delay.

Sample Preparation and Metabolite Extraction Samples are shipped to BCDD and processed in Metabolite Medicine Division following established in-house SOPs according to the matrix type.

Data Acquisition Analysis of a sample using our state of art instruments empowered by an intelligent data acquisition workflow with quality control samples put in place.

Data Analysis and Metabolite Identification High-resolution accurate mass, MS/MS, and retention time data is processed and compared against in-house and external databases. Advanced statistical analysis and quality assurance procedures are employed.

Report After processing the data, the collaborator will receive an interactive report containing univariate, multivariate, and clustering analysis, as well as related visualizations with active support from BCDD to interpret the results.
